Dear authors,

The International Conference on Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler (CFBB) is a series of conference sponsored and organized by Pusan National University, Korea and Tsinghua University, China. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd CFBB were successfully and respectively held in Donghae, Korea in 2018, Qingdao, China in 2019 and Busan, Korea, in 2020. The 4th CFBB will be held in Chongqing, China . We sincerely invite experts, scholars, entrepreneurs and power plant colleagues from both academe and industries who are interested in the design, operation, maintenance of CFB boiler and auxiliary to this conference. The conference is to offer a non-profit platform for all attendants to exchange common problems in design, operation and auxiliary machinery in CFB, to exchange the latest technical application and engineering practice, and to strengthen the communication and cooperation between domestic and foreign industrial and academic communities.

Considering the impact of the COVID-19, the conference is planned to be held from September 16 to 18, 2021 through a combination of online and offline methods as agreed by all the organizers. The conference invited the association president, co-chairman, international committee members, secretary general, the conference speaker, the conference and sub-conference hosts and other representatives to the meeting, and submitted papers through online and offline communication.

Aiming at clean coal combustion and high value-added application of CFB, the following themes are set.

(2) Pollutant control and ultra-low emission

Ÿ Ash characterization & utilization

(3) Fuel diversity

Ÿ CFB combustion of high-sodium coal

ŸŸCFB combustion of biomass

Ÿ CFB combustion of industrial wastes

(4) Gasification and poly-generation

2. Format of meetings

Expert Report ( online & offline) : The organizing committee will invite well-known experts in the field of energy and power from academia and industry to deliver keynote speeches, discussing the latest research hotspots and development status. 

Young Scholars Forum (online & offline) : The Conference plans to add online forums and other links to strengthen exchanges and contacts among young scholars.

International Dialogue (online & offline) : At the end of the thematic report, representatives of boiler plants, power plants, academicians and international experts will be invited to engage in an international dialogue on the designated thematic perspective.

3. Paper Collection

The meeting accepts Chinese and English papers and advocates English contributions. The summary of the paper and the full text template are attached. Please submit your manuscript directly to the e-mail :jianbo.li@cqu.edu.cn. 

 Submission papers will be reviewed one by one, and published papers should be noted at the time of submission. Papers reviewed and approved will be incorporated into the collection, excellent papers will be recommended to journals such as Thermal Power Generation, Boiler Technology, Clean Coal Technology and Energies by SCI.

Any person who intends to submit a paper at the CFBB04 meeting shall submit a summary by May 15, 2021, and the full text of the paper by July 01, 2021.

May. 15, 2021 for submitting abstracts* 

Jun. 01, 2021 notification of acceptance

Jul. 01, 2021 submitting final manuscript

* Full paper submission is optional.

5. Schedule

Sept. 16, 2021, offline registration (Chongqing);

Sept. 17, 2021, general assembly reports and youth forums;

Sept. 18, 2021, visit of Baima CFB demonstrative power station (Neijiang, Sichuan ).

CNY 2000 per person including meeting materials and meals, free for students. Accommodations can be arranged but the expenses are on own.
